Tips for table conversion

Confirm header rows and delimiter before converting.

Watch character encoding (UTF-8) for non-ASCII data.

Check that numeric IDs are not turned into scientific notation.

Validate row counts after conversion.

Keep a sample of the source until the target looks right.

Move tables between CSV, JSON, and markdown

Processing stays in your browser — your input is not uploaded to our servers.

Paste a grid and switch the serialization so you can drop it into a ticket, a fixture, or a doc. Headers and quoting matter more than people expect.

Messy Excel exports (merged cells, extra header rows) will still need a human pass.

Convert a table

  1. Paste the source table

Include the header row if you want keys in JSON.

  2. Pick the output format

CSV for spreadsheets, JSON for APIs, markdown for docs.

  3. Copy and sanity-check types

Leading zeros in ids often die in CSV unless quoted.
