Tips for PIN codes

Avoid obvious sequences like 1234 or repeated digits.

Prefer longer PINs when the system allows it.

Do not reuse the same PIN for banking, phone, and cards.

Never write the PIN on the device or card itself.

Change a PIN after sharing it or after a device theft.

Random PINs, not birthdays

Processing stays in your browser — your input is not uploaded to our servers.

The tool draws numeric PINs with a length you choose, instead of dates, repeating digits, or keypad patterns like 2580.

Use it for device locks, cards, and apps that only accept digits — then memorize or store the PIN; it is not written down here.

Generate a PIN

  1. Choose PIN length

Match the device or card rules (often 4–8 digits). Longer is better when the system allows it.

  2. Generate a new value

Reject obvious sequences if you somehow get one; generate again rather than “fixing” it by hand.

  3. Save or memorize it

Copy the PIN to a manager or learn it, then leave the page.

PIN generator FAQ

Why not use a birthday?

Dates and repeating digits are the first guesses. A random PIN is not in that short list.

Is a 4-digit PIN enough?

Only if the system rate-limits guesses. Prefer the longest PIN the device allows.

Does this work for bank PINs?

It can generate digits, but follow your bank’s rules and never type a real card PIN on a shared screen.
