Locale is a parameter that defines the geographical assignment of an order (such as a specific office, district, city, etc.).
In the context of the CRM system, a locale can be utilized for the following purposes:
Restricting Order Visibility for Users: A locale allows you to define which users can access specific order information. For instance, you can configure a locale so that orders are visible only to users from a specific country or city.
Defining Order Geo-Assignment: A locale can also be used to determine the exact geographical position of an order. This is highly useful for regional sales analytics or for offering location-based discounts and promotions to clients.
Segmenting Orders by Office: Using locales, you can aggregate performance statistics across geographically distributed departments.
...and more.
A Department serves as the unifying criterion for Locales. Add locales to a Department, and then assign that department to a user to restrict their visibility of orders belonging to other geos, departments, or offices.
A locale in the CRM system can be customized for a specific country or city. This enables precise control over order visibility and allows for accurate sales data analysis within specific geographical zones.
A locale directly affects the phone number mask applied in orders and filters. Carefully evaluate your business model, your need for locales, and their overall number before setup—making modifications later will be difficult.
Locale configuration requires an ISO country code to ensure the proper functionality of the phone number input masks.
Adding a Locale
To add a new locale, navigate to: Settings — Locales — click the "+" icon in the bottom right corner — Add Locale.
Editing and Deletion
The right-hand side of the locale block contains the following options:
Enabling/Disabling a locale(или Toggle locale)
Editing a locale(или Edit locale)
Deleting a locale(или Delete locale)
Warning: Deletion is an irreversible action. Once a locale is deleted, identifying an order's assignment and searching for it by this criterion will become impossible.
Tip: Try to repurpose existing locales rather than deleting them—simply edit obsolete locales to match your current operational needs.
Export and Import
Navigate to: Settings — Locales — click the three dots "More" icon in the upper-right corner — Export/Import.
